Not long after Theisen’s birth, Wildfire began noticing the signs of aging. Her hair turned gray, and she wasn’t as spry as she used to be. But she wasn’t bothered; she knew she could still be a good mother to Theisen. She just hoped she would be able to save her from the kind of childhood she’d had. (more…)

Nothing could have prepared her for what she felt when she first held her daughter in her arms. It was a fierce and violent love, so strong it could consume them both. She knew she would gladly give up her life for this child. This feeling reminded her of wildfire, strong and all-consuming, so that was what she named her daughter. Wildfire. (more…)
I’m currently playing the Apocalypse Challenge, and combining it with the Legacy Challenge. It’s very very hard, and I think my score is somewhere below zero right now, but I’m having lots of fun with it. Here’s Generation 1:

On her way to Sim State University, Aleris spent the night in a hotel in a small town called Greenleaf, intending to make the rest of the trip the next morning. But she woke up in the middle of the night to the sound of explosions. She hid in her room for hours, and when she finally dared to venture outside, the world had been transformed. Some said it was a nuclear war; others had heard rumors of an alien invasion. Whatever the cause, the world Aleris had known was gone. (more…)

A daughter, just like Melody had wished for! She named her new daughter Syona. (more…)

Meadow tried to show Brandon how smart she was by keeping her nose in a book constantly, but Brandon didn’t seem to notice. He was throwing himself into his work, trying to get a promotion. Meadow didn’t find acting smart to be quite as bad as she had thought it would be, but it still wasn’t what she would choose to do if she didn’t have a reason for it. The pursuit of knowledge was Brandon’s purpose in life, but Meadow now knew for sure that it wasn’t hers. (more…)
(Brandon Mystic is the Mystic Legacy founder; I downloaded him from the Sims Exchange. Now he’s beginning a life with Meadow Thayer…)

Meet Brandon Mystic, fresh out of college and ready to make a new start. After he left home he worked hard to distance himself from his former life. He made lots of friends, even joined a fraternity. He met a beautiful cheerleader through the fraternity, and fell in love with her. By the beginning of his senior year, they were engaged. But that relationship died a sudden and violent death when Brandon caught her in bed with his roommate. It was then that he realized she had never been right for him; he had only been swayed by her beauty. Brandon didn’t intend to put himself through that again. No, instead, he moved to a little corner of the desert so empty it was practically deserted. (more…)
Boy, it’s been awhile, hasn’t it? I’ve gotten a bit behind on posting the Sheridans’ story; Aiessa is all grown up and has two kids, and there was a whole bunch of drama involving Adlai, and I somehow never got around to posting it. But mostly I’ve gotten kind of burned out on the whole Legacy thing for now. I do plan to go back to the Sheridans eventually, and I also started a more informal Legacy family, but for now I have something different for you. I give you… *drumroll*… Mystic Oasis!
See, many months ago I downloaded Brandon Mystic, the Mystic Legacy founder, from the Sims Exchange. (He doesn’t seem to be there anymore; otherwise I’d provide a link.) I moved him into a neighborhood of his own - a desert neighborhood I christened Mystic Oasis - and I aged up Meadow Thayer. The plan was for them to populate the neighborhood with unnaturally beautiful children. They were happy to oblige, and I liked the story enough that I decided to post it.
There’s a lot to catch up on. I have thirteen chapters’ worth of updates on my computer, just waiting to be posted, and I have some more stuff from the in-game photo albums that I haven’t made into chapters yet. So I suppose I had best get started…
A few hours later, the spaceship hovered over the Sheridans’ yard. (more…)
After many weeks of waiting, Kieran finally got an answer from Michelle. She told him that she did want to marry him. He asked her whether she thought he should go to college or not, and she had mixed feelings; on the one hand, she wanted him to go and experience the things she couldn’t experience, but on the other hand, she would miss him if he were gone that long, and she was afraid he would meet some girl at college who would take him away from her. It was a difficult choice, but looking into Michelle’s eyes, Kieran knew what he wanted to do. He wouldn’t go to college. He would stay in Riverside with Michelle. (more…)
