After many weeks of waiting, Kieran finally got an answer from Michelle. She told him that she did want to marry him. He asked her whether she thought he should go to college or not, and she had mixed feelings; on the one hand, she wanted him to go and experience the things she couldn’t experience, but on the other hand, she would miss him if he were gone that long, and she was afraid he would meet some girl at college who would take him away from her. It was a difficult choice, but looking into Michelle’s eyes, Kieran knew what he wanted to do. He wouldn’t go to college. He would stay in Riverside with Michelle. (more…)

So she started nagging Dellan about her love life, or lack of one, and when that didn’t work, she tried to set Dellan up with a guy she’d met, a firefighter named Mitch Lawson. Dellan knew things were going to go horribly with Mitch. She had overheard him talking to Elysia about her. “No, I most definitely do not want to meet your daughter!” he had said. “I don’t care how pretty she is. I have better things to do than go on pity dates with girls who need their mommies to set them up.” (more…)
As Elysia’s belly got bigger and bigger, Elysia told herself that this baby was Robi’s baby. She tried to forget any doubts she had about whose baby it really was. (more…)

The twins’ babyhood was uneventful, if a bit chaotic. With Aislin around to help out, Elysia and Robi had no trouble taking care of the twins. Soon the girls reached the age when they could start to cause real havoc. (more…)
